Our Team ApproachAt Attention Plus Care, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and value. That's why we have carefully selected our team of licensed nurse supervisors, schedulers and professional caregivers and human resources professionals who are committed to these beliefs and values that we hold so dearly.
Client Service Supervisors
All of our care is supervised by licensed nurses, all of which have specialized experience and education in bringing care to the home. These Client Service Supervisors ensure that the highest possible quality of individualized health care is provided. Their job includes monitoring the services we provide, ensuring that care needs are met and company standards of care are followed as well as monitoring client and environment conditions for safety, comfort and caregiver performance. As Client Service Supervisors, they create extra value for the client by conducting routine supervisory telephone calls, which help to improve our service and benefits. They also visit clients to evaluate client needs and to supervise the progress of the client's health care needs.
We support our clients, families and caregivers by maintaining a 24-hour on-call telephone access line, staffed by a licensed nurse, for all client and caregiver questions or concerns.
Schedulers
That's not all. Also on continuous 24-hour call, our team of Schedulers are always available to respond to client service requests and scheduling updates, giving you more flexibility in making schedule changes.
And with our state-of-the-art scheduling system, we are able to provide you with the level of skilled service or supervision you may require.
Professional Caregivers
It's more than training and experience in caregiving that makes for incredible service. It takes a sincere interest and positive attitude to complete the entire package. Our Caregivers reflect this. All are carefully screened and selected based on skills, attitude and a sincere interest in delivering quality care. We conduct an extensive interview process, which includes running criminal and personal background checks and previous employment references. All Caregivers must have current TB clearance and certification to provide emergency CPR. All are screened for illegal drug use.
Once hired as an Attention Plus Care Caregiver, our employees are given extensive orientation training and skill testing, including safe food handling, wheelchair safety, blood pressure screening, safe transferring of client, and a variety of other skills that are necessary for basic Caregiver employment. And to further keep apprised of the ever-changing health care practices, each one of our Caregivers are required to upgrade their training every year and take additional classes offered by Attention Plus Care.
To lessen your worries, all of our client care employees are covered by Worker's Compensation, Temporary Disability and are Bonded with Professional Liability Insurance and have their taxes, insurance and benefits paid for by Attention Plus Care.
Our Caregivers and Supervisors keep detailed records of all pertinent medical information for each client at our offices and a duplicate copy in the home for the family to be involved in the care program. A daily activity log and chart system helps track care provided and progress toward meeting care goals.

2002 - Services provided for medically-fragile children
2004 - Licensed as a Home Health Agency in the State of Hawaii
